- No BPA or phthalates. Our mats are made of EVA foam without these plasticisers.
- Unpack and air out. A light smell right after unpacking is normal for EVA foam and fades quickly. Lay the tiles out separately and air the room briefly.

Does the mat smell after unpacking?
Right after unpacking, EVA foam can smell slightly. Lay the tiles out separately and air the room, and the smell fades quickly.

Our puzzle mats are made of EVA foam without BPA and phthalates. Further tests for your mat are listed in the product description.
How do I clean the mat?
Wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap. Please don’t put it in the washing machine or soak it in water.
Do crumbs get stuck in the joints?
The tiles fit tightly together. Just vacuum up crumbs. For a thorough clean, take the tiles apart and wipe them one by one.
What are the border pieces for?
They give the mat straight edges so no teeth stick out. Which pieces are included is listed above under “At a glance”.
Can I connect several mats?
That depends on the model. “At a glance” shows whether your mat is expandable.
Can I use the mat on underfloor heating?
Yes. Lift the mat now and then so the floor underneath can breathe.
